Progressive Action Daily Roundup

-Elise of DailyKos has a important post up on legislation that would make birth control affordable. It's a no-brainier. But the ultraconservatives will put up a fight. So go over and find how you can help.

-Avaaz has launched a boycott campaign against Total and Chevron. Two oil companies that pump millions of dollars into the oppressive dictatorship of Burma. These companies fund the oppressive government and if we can make them cut the funding the dictatorship will have no were to go. So sign you're name and pledge to boycott Total and Chevron!

-Free Rice is a way cool site that I found a few days ago. Simply by knowing some vocabulary you can donate free rice to people living in poverty. It's real and you don't have to pay anything. The advertisers that advertise while you're playing the game pay the money to buy the rice. In only a few minutes you can help feed the hungry. It's revolutionary!

-I worry every day that we will launch a strike against Iran. To do so would set our forign policy back for decades and mean the possible ruin of our country and our economy. Just Foreign Policy has a easy page up on how you can fight back and get you're representatives on board with a bill that would prevent war with Iran. This is hugely important. We must stop the war with Iran and just a few clicks can help.

That's all for tonight folks and remember:
