Daily Digest: Good for Google Edition

-Google just came out against the hateful Prop 8 in California that would take away the right to marry from same-sex couples who love each other. Good for Google.

-Michelle Bachman was elected in 2006 from the area above where I live. I have never been more ashamed of a politician from my state. Michelle Bachman is willing to use exploit the economic crises by using racial fears. That's despicable. If there was one person I could defeat in Congress it would probably be Michelle Bachman.

-Reihan thinks a Putin/Uribe election would be far more interesting. I have to say it would certainly shatter a lot of barriers. Mostly beacuse Putin and Uribe would hire the KGB and right-wing militas, respectively, to smash the glass barriers.

-Mitch McConnell, the Republican leader in the Senate is tied with Bruce Lunsford, a corrupt, conservative Democrat. McConell is also corrupt and far more conservative but it's hard to get exited about this race.

-Is it just me, or does anyone else think it's amazing that the debate avoided completely the Israeli/Palestine conflict?

-Steve Clemons and Fareed Zakaria are right, Sarah Palin is in no way qualified to be vice president. The fact that McCain picked her speaks extremely poorly of his judgment, in my opinon.

-Nate's got today's polls.

-Minnesota will have a 90 percent of it's voting age population registered by election day. Does that rock or what? National average is a full 22 points lower.

-Why can't the Twins close the deal? The White Sox's are horrible but we still can't close the deal and get into the playoffs. If we lose tomorow I will be sooooo angry.
