Interesting stuff is happening.

-Steve Clemons alerted me to the fact that the British Embassy in Washington has started a blog. It's actually surprisingly interesting. Hopefully this will become a trend. The internet has opened up a lot of information for anyone to see and interact with. Diplomatic issues have not generally been things that anyone except other diplomats can follow but the internet changes that.

-Conservative Canadian PM Stephen Harper will stay in power with a slightly stronger minority government which kind of sucks.

-Not sure what to make of this. Could the Middle East conflict simply die down beacuse people get tired of it? Somehow I doubt it will be that easy.
